Thank you so much for agreeing to volunteer as a MENTOR for the Youth Entrepreneurial Exploration Summit on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The event will be held at the Durham County Main Library located at 300 N. Roxboro St., Durham, NC 27701 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
This summit is designed to expose youth ages 13–18 to entrepreneurship, leadership, creativity, financial literacy, and real-world business experiences through engaging workshops, mentorship, and community connection.
All sessions for the day are 45–50 minutes, including time for questions and answers. There will be transition breaks between sessions to allow students and speakers time to move throughout the event comfortably.
Please note that this is not a paid speaking opportunity. However, your willingness to pour into the next generation of entrepreneurs is deeply appreciated and will make a lasting impact on the students attending.
In addition to speaking opportunities, we are also offering group Mentor Sessions throughout the summit. These sessions will provide youth attendees with the opportunity to connect in small groups with professionals, business owners, and community leaders for quick conversations, encouragement, and guidance.
If you are interested in volunteering as a mentor in addition to your speaking session, please let us know your availability so we can schedule you for a mentor time slot.
Thank you again for helping us create an inspiring and empowering experience for Durham youth. We look forward to working with you and appreciate your commitment to building the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.
