A dedicated space where Black business owners, community leaders, and ecosystem partners could come together to learn, connect, and grow. We called it the BLK BIZ Summit — and every year it showed up for our community in a bigger and more powerful way.

🏆 Community Recognition Awards

This year we are stopping to celebrate the people who deserve their flowers. The BLK BIZ Brunch Community Recognition Awards honor Black business owners, Divine Nine member-entrepreneurs, elected officials, community leaders, and organizational champions who have been quietly and consistently making a difference across North Carolina. Nominees are selected by the community. Winners are celebrated live on August 15th.

For five years, Give It To The People® has been dedicated to building spaces where Black business owners, community leaders, and change-makers are seen, supported, and celebrated. The inaugural BLK BIZ Brunch Community Recognition Awards are an extension of that mission, a formal opportunity for our community to stop, look around, and honor the people who have been doing the work quietly, consistently, and powerfully.
